Math
This last semester in math I worked on pre-cal. In pre-cal we worked in a small group on advanced problems ahead of what the class was working on. This went well and we made lots of head way.
Semester 1 math reflection
Well working on pre-cal, I also worked on accelarated math. I wasn't able to complete the 60 problems every week but I always got a good number finished along with my pre-cal work when I had it. I found that a good resource for math is Khan academy and the instructional videos are realy good for supporting the class lessons. In math this semester I was most proud of my work in the boat project on the math/displacement work sheet. Dawn had me help her check other peoples work because I was able to accuratley calculate the work.
In math this semester I didn't really have any significant "aha" moments certainly not as many as I should have for a whole semesters worth of learning. This was disappointing since I went in to High school looking forward to the challenge. Hopefully this new semester will be more of a challenge and in pre-cal we will be able to advance further in to the book.

semester 2 math reflection
I had a great experience with math this semester. Even though there was not a lot of progress I filled in some wholes in my math education I had developed over the last couple years. I mastered dozens of objectives this semester the only objective is struggled with was objective 83. I struggled with objective 83 because I was being "challenged". Santana was a great MFFTW because she consistently participated in class lessons.
